These magnetic markers allow you to quickly apply a reference pattern to your workpiece. They adhere to suitable metal surfaces and are easy to position, reposition and remove, without leaving any adhesive residue. This means you can reuse the same markers for different scanning projects.

Ideal for handheld 3D scanners

These markers are primarily intended for handheld 3D scanners that use retro-reflective reference points. The 6 mm diameter is the most common marker size for this purpose. The reference points help the scanner to determine its position relative to the workpiece and to correctly stitch together successive scan images.

A cost-effective choice

This version is an affordable alternative to our more robust 12 mm flat magnetic markers and, for some projects, is also cheaper than self-adhesive markers. Whilst less suited to intensive industrial use, they offer a practical solution when you need a large number of reusable reference points for your handheld scanning projects.
