1. Seller

The website tetravision.be is operated by TetraVision BV, Leuvensesteenweg 226A, 3370 Boutersem, Belgium, VAT BE0691.932.672.

Contact: shop@tetravision.be – +32 16 910 420.

2. Scope

These terms apply to online orders placed via tetravision.be. A consumer is a natural person buying for purposes outside a trade or business. A professional customer buys for business purposes, including when ordering with a company name, VAT number, or business invoice details.

Mandatory consumer rights always prevail. Professional customers do not benefit from the statutory consumer right of withdrawal.

3. Orders and Payment

The webshop may send an automatic order acknowledgement after checkout. This does not yet mean that the order has been accepted. A contract is concluded only when TetraVision dispatches the order and sends the invoice, or when TetraVision otherwise expressly accepts the order in writing. TetraVision may refuse or cancel an order before acceptance in case of unavailability, payment failure, suspected fraud, obvious error, or legal/safety restrictions. Amounts already paid for a cancelled order will be refunded.

Prices are in EUR. Consumer prices include VAT unless stated otherwise. Shipping and any mandatory charges are shown before checkout. Prices and special offers shown on the website are valid only for purchases completed through the webshop, unless TetraVision expressly agrees otherwise.

Orders are payable through the payment methods shown at checkout. Invoice payment is available only for professional customers and only with TetraVision’s prior written approval. For professional orders below EUR 500 excluding VAT, TetraVision may add an administrative fee of EUR 150 excluding VAT. Shipping costs are always charged separately unless TetraVision expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

4. Delivery

Delivery times are estimates unless expressly confirmed as binding. For consumers, risk passes when the consumer or a person appointed by the consumer receives the goods. For professional customers, risk passes when the goods are handed to the carrier, unless agreed otherwise in writing.

The customer must provide correct delivery details and cooperate with delivery. Extra costs caused by incorrect information, failed delivery, or refusal of delivery may be charged where permitted by law.

5. Consumer Withdrawal Right

Consumers may withdraw from an online purchase of goods within 14 calendar days without giving a reason, unless a legal exception applies. For goods, the period starts on the day after delivery.

To withdraw, the consumer must inform TetraVision before the deadline by email, letter, or any withdrawal function provided on the website. A model withdrawal form will be made available on the website and/or included with the order confirmation email, but using that form is not mandatory.

After withdrawal, the consumer must return the goods within 14 calendar days. The consumer pays the direct return shipping costs, unless TetraVision expressly agrees otherwise or failed to inform the consumer of those costs before purchase.

TetraVision refunds the payments received from the consumer, including the least expensive standard outbound delivery cost offered for the original order. If the consumer chose a more expensive delivery option, such as express delivery, the extra delivery cost is not refunded. TetraVision may withhold the refund until it has received the goods back or until the consumer provides valid proof from a postal or transport service that the goods were sent back to TetraVision, whichever occurs first. The consumer is responsible for the direct return shipping costs and must package the goods properly for return.

6. Exceptions to Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content or software delivered electronically once supply has begun, if the consumer expressly agreed to immediate delivery and confirmed that they understood the withdrawal right would be lost once delivery started. Where applicable, the right of withdrawal also does not apply to sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed after delivery.

7. Software and Digital Licences

Software, activation keys, downloads, licences, and other digital content are licensed, not sold, unless stated otherwise. Licence terms shown on the product page, in the EULA, or by the software publisher also apply.

Because digital licences may be issued immediately and cannot normally be returned to TetraVision’s supplier, access is provided only after the consumer expressly agrees to immediate electronic delivery and confirms that they understand the withdrawal right will be lost once delivery starts. After delivery has started, digital licences and activation keys cannot be returned or refunded, except where mandatory law requires a remedy for non-conformity.

8. Legal Guarantee and Defects

Consumers have the statutory legal guarantee for goods and digital content. For new goods, this is normally two years from delivery. If a product is not in conformity, the consumer may be entitled to repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund under Belgian/EU consumer law.

Commercial or manufacturer warranties may give extra rights but do not reduce statutory consumer rights.

Professional customers must inspect deliveries promptly and report visible damage, shortages, or wrong deliveries as soon as reasonably possible, preferably within 5 working days. Hidden defects must be reported promptly after discovery.

9. B2B Returns

Professional customers have no automatic right to return products for convenience. B2B returns are accepted only after TetraVision has approved the return in writing. Returned goods must be unused, complete, safely packaged, and the professional customer is responsible for the return shipment unless agreed otherwise.

10. Use, Safety, and Compatibility

The customer must use products and software lawfully, safely, and according to instructions, safety data sheets, licence terms, compatibility information, and manufacturer documentation. Products intended for professional use must be used only by competent persons in suitable environments.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including mandatory consumer rights, fraud, intentional fault, product liability where applicable, or death/personal injury caused by negligence.

For professional customers, to the extent permitted by law, TetraVision is not liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, loss of data, business interruption, or third-party claims. TetraVision’s aggregate liability for a professional order is limited to the amount paid for the affected product or software.

12. Complaints, Law, and Courts

Complaints can be sent to shop@tetravision.be with the order number and a clear description of the issue. If a consumer dispute cannot be resolved directly, consumers can find information about recognised consumer mediation bodies through ConsumerConnect (https://consumerconnect.be) and the European Commission’s Consumer Redress page (https://consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu).

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Consumers keep any mandatory protections of their country of residence. Disputes with professional customers fall under the courts competent for TetraVision’s registered office, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
