Reference points from multiple scanning directions

Each marker die combines multiple retro-reflective reference points in a single compact housing. As the markers are distributed across different surfaces, reference points are visible from various viewing angles. This is useful when moving around a workpiece whilst scanning or frequently changing the scanning direction.

Ideal for handheld 3D scanners

These marker dice are primarily intended for handheld 3D scanners that use retro-reflective reference points. The 6 mm diameter is the most common marker size for this purpose. The reference points help the scanner to determine its position relative to the workpiece and to correctly stitch together successive scan images.

Quick to position and reuse

Thanks to the magnetic base, you can easily attach the holders to suitable metal surfaces. You can move them quickly and remove them again after scanning, without leaving any adhesive residue. This allows you to set up a temporary scanning rig with ease and reuse the same marker dice for future projects.
