Inspection of some critical dimensions
Our 3D scanning services are often the first step of a complete quality control. This throughout the entire production process, from the start of a new development to serial production.
Process: step by step
Process
- Spraying of the lego block with water based anti-reflex spray
- Clamping of the lego block in a fixture with reference points on the fixture
- Digitizing of the lego block
Technology
- GOM Atos III Triple scan with a 60MV (measuring volume)
- Automated tilt and swivel unit in combination with a lift for the scanner
Inspection
- After scanning the lego block all the necessary geometrical elements could be made and checked against their nominal values with certain tolerances.
