Lamborghini Revuelto
It must be said, we often scan and inspect quite a lot of technical automotive parts, which end up somewhere in the car body, mostly not even visible for the eye. So you can imagine how much fun we had with scanning the entire exterior of the Lamborghini Revuelto!
Together with AESUB we collaborated with DMC Exotic Car Tuning Limited to create the perfect 3D Scanfile of this iconic car.
In the movie below you see all the different steps of the scanning process.
- Making sure the car is completely clean and free of dust.
- Applying reference markers (3mm black-and-white AESUBdots)
- Spraying the shiny surfaces to create a mattifying effect
- Calibration of the scanner and the actual scanning itself
- Watch the AESUB Blue vanish after a while…
Once the scan was done, the reverse engineering could get started.n.
